Additive manufacturing and robotics. One technology relies on steady, repetitive motion to create each infinitesimal layer, over and once again. The opposite technology is renowned for its repeatability and control. It's as if they were made for every other. It is a match made in disruptive technology, within the way forward for manufacturing. Robots aren't only enabling additive manufacturing, they're tending 3D printing machines (which also are robotic), and automating AM post-processing, and allowing architects to see new, flexible ways to create the planet around us. Expanding our possibilities. These technologies are wont to develop machines that will substitute for humans and replicate human actions.
